ABOUT
Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu
Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu was born on July 20, 1953 to the family of Chief B.U.B (late) and Nneoma Dora Anyanwu in Emeabiam, Owerri West local government of Imo State, Nigeria.
She graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1977 with a BSc. Zoology. In 1986, she obtained her MSc. Fisheries ( major in Aquaculture) from the University of the Philppines, Iloilo. She is a firm believer in continuing education regardless of age which she demonstrated by going back to school (University of Ibadan) in 2016 for MPH in Health Promotion & Education (graduation in view).
About FOWOSO
Forum for Wives of Ondo State Officials (FOWOSO) is a novel concept of the visionary wife of Ondo State Governor, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, which was officially launched on Friday, December 7th, 2017.
FOWOSO aims to stand for, advocate and create equal opportunity for the women of Ondo State, and ensure they are prepared to take charge when called upon.
FOWOSO’s objectives include to develop and execute programs that would build human capacity in young and old women in the great Sunshine State.
